3DS SD Card Problem

My SD card from my 3ds says that it is write-protected, so i can't add music. What can I do?

I have a few SD cards that have this lock switch on the side, they look something like this:

Turn the system off, and take the SD Card out, and if there's a switch like the one in the image, then change the switches position to the opposite end and put it back in, it should hopefully work then.

If it hasn't got the switch then I don't know the solution to this problem.
