Now that I think about it, MK7 is probably the Mario Kart that I've sunk the most hours into. I may actually play that in a bit, it has a lot of my favorite tracks.

Now that I think about it, MK7 is probably the Mario Kart that I've sunk the most hours into. I may actually play that in a bit, it has a lot of my favorite tracks.
64 has the nostalgia factor, Double Dash is unique and I appreciate a lot of what it does, MKDS was one I played an absolute fuck ton but I haven't touched it in so long and I honestly forget it exists too often for it to be my favourite, but it might be the best one. I think Wii is most likely my favourite, I have a lot of good memories of it. 7 was great but it didn't stand out much and I feel like it's just the 'safe pick' for a good mario kart but not one you would declare is the best. 8 was good but items were so god damn infuriating; then Deluxe fixed items and suddenly Mario Kart 8 went from a frustrating game to play a really damn enjoyable one.
So I guess I'd say Wii was my favourite, but if I was still a Mario Kart junkie then MK8D would probably take its place because of how good it is.
