congratulations to Bowser Jr. for winning volume 18 of the Winners hurt and heal series!

not a ton of stats to report on here, given that there's already quite a few Mario series winners (shocker!). the most interesting thing is probably that there's not too many villains in the gallery; there's two enemies and Waluigi, but Bowser Jr. will now join Dr. Eggman as one of only two major villains in the hall of fame. I will also note that this was Bowser Jr.'s fourth shot, previously appearing in volumes 2, 8, and 12. he's never quite been able to pull it off, with his highest placement being 4th in 8, but now he's finally having his day
