I wont say all characters are the same, but I will say there is no "BEST" character. It is how YOU play with them. I personally pwn with marth, toon link, and KIRBY ESPECIALLY. I would go with Kirby if I had to pick, because he gets everones powers, hes nimble, hes tiny, and as strong and as fast as most other characters.

Oh, come on. Some characters are obviously superior to others. If you have two characters that are exactly the same, but the second one can fly, the latter is obviously better.

If they aren't all the same, there has to be at least one character better than the others.

It is how YOU play with them.

In a normal match, of course. You can't have a 3 year old with Meta Knight beat KenSeph with Falcon. However, some characters have traits that > others.

And then I adapted to the character's new style if they had one in Melee.
