LEGO Mario

That looks AWESOME.

Now, all we need are some series 6 character packs and some more unique-themed sets like underground/cave, underwater, snowscape/winter, mountain, volcano, sewer/pipe, autumn/fall, haunted forest, food/sweet/dessert, ice castle, sky castle, or even carnival/circus. Alright?

You'll have to buy seven of them if you want to make the LEGO Protectors

@Ray Trace

One set for Baby Luigi, six more sets for the Protectors (Redshift, Dark Light, Ray Trace, Bluminesence, Ultra Violet, and Kontrast.)

Yeah all I can say is this is another slap on K'NEX face, but still, wonder if we'll seem them develop more buildable racing courses or kids need to play it like Home Circuit, well, or buy LEGO City plates.

Didn't know this thread exist, so I think this topic has been brought up before: how'd LEGO deal with the rest of main cast?

I think there is no coincidence all the unused characters so far are human, with exception of EGadd who wasn't an active playable character in general games.

I assume there is a hidden dilemma about making other human figures next to Mario and Peach who're interactive toys. It'd sure be possible to do Pauline and Waluigi as normal figures, but that'd somehow make the lineup messy.

Meanwhile we also got Toad, Toadette and DK gang who're technically active main players and the former can also use power-up in mainline canon. If Mario can interact because he can use power-ups, so should Toad and DK?

I also think LEGO missed good opportuinty to do some movie-based themed toys.

Oh you know exactly who is going to wait in line to pick up this lego set the day it releases.
I couldn't wait to see your reaction

I hope we get a Traveler's Tales developed Lego Mario game that would be so epic.

I had K'NEX as a kid. Never really liked it that much. Lego is much better. Also I remember the K'NEX stuff seemed to break quite easily.
I think it had own merits, but my credit is despite its complicated track system, it's severely lacks the taste of fantasy from videogame's racing courses.

On the other hand there are characters. It's nice for LEGO to pick babies as starters to prove difference from K'NEX.

Um I'm a bit confused...none of the starter sets for Lego Mario have Baby Mario and Baby Luigi in them. I thought that was what you were referring to LOL, unless you're talking about miniature versions of the Mario characters or something.
