Favourite game chain

post the progression of your favourite video game in a similar format to the name change chain thread. now of course for some of us including me who started gaming young this is going to be difficult to remember but we can at least try. and of course you can post a second time here if your favourite game changes. i'll start:

1. LEGO Chess (September 2007 - March 2008)
2. Poptropica (March 2008 - May 2008)
3. Club Penguin (May 2008 - February 2009)
4. Jurassic Park III: Dino Defender (February 2009 - June 2009)
5. Age of Empires II (June 2009 - December 2009)
6. Wii Sports Resort (December 2009 - December 2010)
7. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (December 2010 - June 2012)
8. Super Paper Mario (June 2012 - present)

I don't have a set year for any of these but my "favorite game of all time" rotates between all of these currently:

Garry's Mod
Left 4 Dead 2
Grand Theft Auto V
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Spore: Galactic Adventures
The Sims 4

prior to that my favorite game of all time was whatever console Mario Kart was released most recently.

years back i remember thinking it was starbound lmaoooo
late 2018 onwards my choice is mario odyssey but, just earlier this year, i realised it might actually be spore instead. not sure yet! i love them both so so much
...yea theres not much here it was really hard to decide on one favorite game for a while
