The first game I played was the first game in the series. I'm glad I played it because it was how I was introduced to most of Nintendo's franchises.

Incidentally, it took me a while to find out that Samus was a girl, or just what the Hell EarthBound was.

The first I've played was Melee, then I played Brawl, and then I played the first one. They are all good, but the original has much more gravity.
