The thread for stuff like the L is real, the Wario apparition, and just Mario conspiracy theories in general. You can also post stuff you found in a game and tell us your theory about it. I thought this would be a fun thing to do since it's Fall and everything.

When you were a kid, and you played Mario 64 at a friend's house, did something ever feel... off? That's because the game was tailored to your friend and not to you. Blah Blah Evil Game Blah Blah Wario show you fun Blah Blah.
 
I've heard rumors of Wario in SMG if you collect every coin. I know it's not true but I like the idea. Should be used in SMG3.
 
there's the mario galaxy ds trailer that everyone thought was real, but it turned out it to be a hoax. this is the "trailer"
i didnt use the internet when this was around, so the first time i heard about it was in a video talking about it and how some guy made it for some school project (at least from what ive heard)

ahh I remember little me seeing this video and refusing to believe it could be fake, purely because of how happy seeing the footage made me.

...Did we ever know why it said "Christmas Math?" At the time i figured it was a company that helped make it (when i thought it was a real game).

I think so.There is another theory that luigi has died from mansion1 and was only back after the galaxy was born again in smg1.I think this is balderdash as luigi is in smg1 He got some of those green stars for me.
I kind of pity Waluigi,and Luigi so many wild theories are made up and some evidence isn't entirly true.

There's very a similar theory with Link in Majora's Mask. Only instead of a glitch in an area, it's stuff that may have been deliberately put there, such as the areas Link visits through the game representing the stages of depression.

You probably CAN enter in Peach's Castle, but you fall into a void as nothing would be modeled and collided inside it.
 
I actually tried entering the castle in Mario Kart 64. In Multiplayer, I used a second kart to push me through the entrance and ended up falling into the water. (Which is fitting since the basement is flooded in the beginning of Mario 64).
 
What if ROM hacks added the interior AND collision for the thing
 
I remember one I used to always know as a kid was the "Luigi Code" was that in Mario 64 there was a code to play as Luigi and it could only be entered in on the startup screen. Kinda reminded me of how the old Mortal Kombat codes could only be entered in on the title screen as well. I know it was disproven later and that the only element of Luigi in the game comes from resource file hunting as well as the DS version, but the 12-year-old me was all over that and trying to find a way to make it happen. Of course. the Internet wasn't quite that big in '96 so there was no way to verify this other than gaming magazines at the time. Unfortunately, I can't remember if I heard this from a kid in the lunchroom or on the school bus back then.
