This commercial was an extremely memorable part of my childhood. I always get so excited seeing that one turn on haha.

I remember watching this commercial and the Chain Chomps alone sold me on the game. (Although at the time of renting it, I didn't get to see the Chain Chomps until years later when I bought the game and was able to get to the later courses when I learned to play the game).

This commercial isn't Mario per se but it obviously jabs at Mario Kart. What irks me is that Blur is actually a very good racing game and it respectably uses Mario Kart elements in a fun manner (I daresay its gameplay is even better than Mario Kart's) but leave it to the marketers to repel Mario Kart fans away from the game.
 

I remember this ad as a kid, back when the New Super Mario Bros aesthetic was actually new and interesting and not tired and please stop using that artstyle in 2D Mario games Nintendo I beg of you.

also i know sticker star gets flack and all but this commercial looks pretty as hecc

OK, we're already reaching a critical amount of Super Mario Land 2 commercials, but for the sake of completeness, here's the UK version of it. It's essentially the same ad with different voice actors.


There's also a Dutch version, which seemed to have been made on a tighter budget.
