Tiny/Huge Story

This is a continue-the-story game with a twist.

The first person posts the first word of the story.
The second person posts the next two words of the story.
The person after that posts the next four words of the story, etc.

Each person posts double the words of the previous poster, up until someone posts 512 words. Then, word counts begin to decrease by half every post until someone posts one word. Then word counts begin doubling again. This goes up and down ad infinitum, or at least until people grow tired of this game.

For quick reference, word count order is: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 256, 128, etc.

Just a quick clarification of the rules: The word count of a post doesn't include the word count of the previous post. Each post shouldn't include the words from the previous post. So, for instance:

Poster 1: Joe
Poster 2: was walking
Poster 3: down the street one
etc.
