Lego Mario has trouble connecting

I don't know how the new app works, so I connect him via the force connect minigames, but after the update whenever he connects he plays the first two sounds and three of the four circles fill but then he frezzes and wont turn of till he automatically does. What should I do to troubleshoot the issue?

Have you tried connecting it via Bluetooth? It should fix the issue.

Well the new app is wacky and I don't understand it.

Go to the top left corner of Lego Mario app and touch "Connect to Bluetooth", then, turn on your Bluetooth and the Lego mario Bluetooth (which itselft is at the back of the system), then, once they connect, you should hear a
beep Beep Beep.
Once that happens your basically done.

If that happens try doing a factory reset and then trying again.
I already put it here on my first post.
EDIT: Basically to do a factory reset you have to hold down the power button for 10 seconds I think.

You only do it for the Power button, not the Bluetooth button.

Problem solved, just had to turn off my bluetooth for around 5-10 seconds.
