Does anyone have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro 2022?

My version seems to have... frozen and/or crashed. I was using it last night for the first time, and the tutorial said to try to add a title. I did so, and my entire PC straight up froze. I had to restart it and now if I try to get into the editor, it won't let me play the footage at all.

Anyone know what may have caused that?

I never have used Premiere Pro sadly. Though perhaps I could help.

Do you know your computer's specs? And any error messages you had received before?

I mean, it's almost brand-new for me. (It was used at my dad's work and they were going to toss it, so he grabbed it for me. :D ) But no, I haven't gotten any before.
I just took a look at it and an update is available so I'm trying that real quick to see if anything changes. (Or maybe it's just adding that particular title crashes the app for me, idk.)

Yep, updating it seems to have fixed it. All good here!

So it seems to have only fixed half the issue...

It works fine now, but if I try to add certain titles or types of fonts, the video won't play until I remove that letter type and restart the program.
