Also, I heard that Waluigi + Wild Wiggler + Rollers is no longer the best. If true, then f*** yeah! You all know how I feel about that overrated character...

I forgot I use meta character Baby Luigi, changed from the previous meta character Baby Luigi

I use meta gliders plane and standard

But sometimes I use the not as meta 300 SL or even the less meta Sports Coupe

Basically, every character with a weight value below 8 received a small buff to their speed statistics. This doesn't necessarily end the Waluigi pandemic completely, but it does try to add more diversity to the competitive scene.

Interesting. I heard that the Yoshi/Princess weight class is really good now, which is good since Birdo is part of that weight class and she is my new main.

For karts, Cat Cruiser is the best now which I suppose is better than using the Biddybuggy since only small characters look good riding it.

I wish that they'd do more about the tires though. Rollers are still the best and they look super ugly with most kart bodies/bikes.

I'd also like to mention that I'm not a complete meta slave or tier whore. While I am interested in knowing which karts/bikes and tires offer the best mini-turbo, I will still be using my favorite characters regardless of their viability. Will still play as Wendy, Cat Peach, Baby Peach, PGP, etc.

Acceleration and mini-turbo are still stats that need to be taken into account. But even before the stats buffs were implemented, the Biddybuggy and Mr. Scooty were already slower in all speed categories than the likes of the Standard Bike, Flame Rider, and Wild Wiggler.

And in terms of the best possible mini-turbo, the Biddybuggy and Mr. Scooty are still uncontested there.

Alright, here are all of my favorite combinations in the game. I like to choose combos that fit the characters, and I also favor the acceleration and mini-turbo stats (plus handling a bit). Speed, weight, and traction are not so important to me.
Some combinations I like to use with more than one character, for example, I use the Biddybuggy + Monsters combo with any of the babies or Lakitu. If I put two tires or gliders in the same row, it means that I like to use either one.

One last thing, the stats page in my game says that these are my favorites:

Character: Pink Gold Peach

I agree with the kart, tires, and glider. But with the recent addition of Birdo, I think that she has become my new favorite character.

i've recently started using the standard kart and glider as opposed to the gold versions, switched the wheels up to that one that looks like the standards but with the green outline, i've always been using my mii and i've stuck with that for idk as long as mario kart 8 has been out lol

the meta favouring mario standard kart is cool too now people are playing mario kart the way it's intended: playing as mario
