Streets of Rage.

I seem to be steadily making progress every time I play the game. Last night, I ended up getting to the final stage, and getting killed by the mini-boss(es) before the last boss, and today, I actually make it to the final boss and wounded up getting beaten by him (even though it came pretty close to being the other way around). I'll definitely beat the game for sure next time I play.
