Red specifically. I have played Yellow up until the E4 a few times.

Yellow was nice but I feel compelled to use all three starters and Pikachu. I'm aiming for this team in Red: Venusar, Gyarados, Mr. Mime, Arcanine, Hitmonlee, Rhydon.

Pokemon Red
-I'm at Vermillion. Misty was a cakewalk, three vine whips and she was gone. Only took about 10-20 hp damage the entire battle, even with switching from Magikarp to Ivysaur to level it up. I got Mr. Mime and added him to my main team. He levels up fast because he's traded. Going to Beat the trainers on S. S. Anne before fighting the trainers to the right of Vermillion and finally Lt. Surge himself.

That no Prototype Detector 200 treasures run is a lot easier than I expected. Sure, I already played it once, but I didn't expect it to be easy. Only Dream Den's and Hole of Heroes's treasures are left. Boy, I hope Wistful Wild caves don't somehow end up making the no Prototype Detector run really hard.
