I only wasted about 10 minutes, if you don't fall then it doesn't take too long to go the energy tank and back even without the Gravity Suit.

Also there are 20 slots for characters in the character select screen, which is extremely many for a squaresoft game (like ff6 only had 14 and that is the most out of any ff game and chrono trigger, the prequel, only had 7 characters).

I ended up playing longer than I thought I would. I didn't know how to replenish power bombs so I had to backtrack to an area and pray that enemies would drop them. I still like that one elevator in Phazon Mines which shows the underside of the impact site, it's so cool.
