What game did you last play?!?!?!?

Today was the first time I've ever played Banjo-Kazooie, and all I can say is wow. I've finished Mumbo's Mountain and Treasure Trove Cove with all the Jiggies and musical notes. Tomorrow, I continue my adventure into this wonderful game :')

Mario Golf: World Tour

I'm unlocking those characters I never got. Kamek seems like a riskier but juiced up Boo, Star Jr. is pretty good too. I might use them. Yoshi and Boo both have pretty low Drives but their trajectory is pretty straightish. I have 50 Star Coins, I'm nearly done with the generic level challenges. Sky Island is next, I remember unlocking this course on my second try. That was a funny time. Mulligans are for scrubs.

Battle Maison is still terrible.
"Oh, hoping to get some after-game EXP and Lv. 100 your Pokemon? Hahaha, you're so naive."

-Game Freak

That is admittedly a problem with Gen 6 that I'll admit, but it's nothing the other generations didn't have.

Nah, I knew about that already. I'm just not held out for long, consecutive battling.

Although I do need it for what I'm trying to do...

I was referring to Game Freak trolling gamers who were hoping for that. But I agree, it gets on my nerves when you have to win, like, 100 battles to get some minor, dumb reward.

Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem - Heroes of Light and Shadow

Beat Chapters 7, 8, 9, 10, and 10x. Prepared for 11 and then stopped.

But man I love how Chapters 7 and 8 are actually legit connected to each other in terms of maps, and while the former kind of sucked the latter really got the feeling of pressure and suspense across, with Hardin (Darkspherified, portrait and all) and the free company (with the weak reinforcements right from the get-go) preparing to chase and beat you down like some arrows to a Pegasus Knight. I didn't even notice the village to the east of your starting positions until after I beat it and double-checked to see if I missed any recruits, so I had to do it again only to get an apparently terrible Manakete.

Chapter 9 was very tense, though the change of music was very nice. I had to get Marth to the Sorcerer amidst all the Dracoknights and Mages (both of which would destroy him), so I had to kind of wait them out, then send Marth in. Then I had to make Marth trek the desert to the village, only to hear the free company wants to stalk me some more in a few turns. Right as I get to the village, they arrive. Race against time, I have Marth running back with Minerva, my units scrambling to the northwestern fortress before Astram and his Heroes make a scene. They started to beat some of my units up, but after that very turn I had Marth in reach of the seize point. I somehow killed off the Heroes (bar Astram) for good measure, and barely ended the chapter in time, a turn longer (even with just Astram alive) would've meant someone would definitely die, more so given he had the best stats, my units in range of him weren't in good shape after killing the Heroes and the guy had a Regalia sword, so it would take a miracle to survive a round with him for most of my units.

Chapter 10 was pain without my Rescue staff, but I liked how the two Mages were in a face-off and both had powerful magic and everything. It was also lovely to see Thoron in an earlier incarnation. After several failed attempts, I finally managed to assault the defences near the moat on Merric's side with my Barrier'd Pegasus Knights, cleared the units, got the chests (thanks to the Thief staff, would've taken ages otherwise) and got Wendell over to Mr. Jealousy eventually, no clerics killed.

Chapter 10x was very weird, a bunch of Level 5 Berserkers with the real one in the back took some luck to beat, I sent in my magical units + Ogma and Marth to the western side after using the L Button to identify who was the real Roro, got a lucky dodge against the Devil Sword and managed to wreck the boss with a round of Thunder from Yumina.

Chapter 11 looks like it'll be a drag though (it's also probably that desert where I've been told the difficulty spikes), with all those Wyverns (literally, they have no rider), all those Hunters, all those Barbarians, that one recruitment, and all that desert. Furthermore, apparently there's items in the sand, too, as well as a secret shop. Rip my life, not looking forward to this.

Oh, and while I was preparing for 11 I got really scared I missed a Starsphere Shard earlier because I had counted ten somehow (I have eleven), it was stress.

My units:

CharacterClass (Original)Level (EXP)
MarthLordLevel 16 (E 48)
Ice (MU)MageLevel 18 (E 45)
RyanMyrmidon (Archer)Level 14 (E 31)
CecileCavalierLevel 16 (E 55)
DraugPirate (Knight)Level 16 (E 57)
MaliciaBishopLevel 5 (E 61)
PallaPegasus KnightLevel 17 (E 7)
JulianThiefLevel 12 (E 34)
OgmaMercenaryLevel 14 (E 36)
YuminaBishopLevel 6 (E 63)
CaedaPegasus KnightLevel 17 (E 82)
CatriaPegasus KnightLevel 14 (E 34)

Catira is typically benched on maps with a limit of eleven, when the limit is less it varies. Original class is only shown when the character in question has been reclassed, not when they're just promoted. Unpromoted units will have blue names.

Puzzle and Dragons Demo

I was wondering why Normal Mode was so hard until I figured out you could move the orb anywhere on the board and manipulate it to create triples. That made things way easier lol. That'll help when the game arrives. It was fun.
