What game did you last play?!?!?!?

Dumb question, but is there an easy way to find and keep track of side quests or do I have to journey more to find them? I plan on playing with a ton of the content in the game so I don't mind exploring, but I don't want to miss fun and useful side missions.

If you press + and hit missions it should show you all the side quests you've accepted. From here you can set a navigation point on whatever mission you want to do first by clicking the sidequest and hitting "set as navigation point"

If you're trying to find more side quests i'm not sure i just go to that kiosk in Armory Valley

I don't think you can miss any sidequests. You can run around each area and look for red question marks if you're desperate for them or you can check your map for quest icons, you need to accept some 'social' missions from the kiosk to get some of the side quests activated. You really won't ever lose track of missions, really unlikely.

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Chapter 11 was pretty great. The boss wasn't brutally hard, lots of Skell-less sections, emotional cut scene, vague foreshadowing from earlier leading to something interesting that actually explains a lot, etc.

Guess I'll run around for some side quests and such before I do Chapter 12.

Super Mario Maker

Well, I ended up beating 100 Mario Expert at 1 life left. It was a rough ride (one was literal Kaizo, even), but I managed to tough it through.

Xenoblade Chronicles X

I reached the point of no return and realised quite quickly that I was not at a point where I could win even the second last fight (I assume) of the game. I need to be Level 50 at least so I have four levels of grinding to go through, and probably have to purchase stronger Skells since if they get trashed in there, they can't be brought back for the next fight.

Such a pain.

Xenoblade Chronicles X

I'm glad I skipped listening to the final boss and credits theme until after beating the game, they were really good. Hell, a lot of the music in this game is really good, something in particular that stood out was how I actually noticed the music in each area and enjoyed listening to it as I explored, I don't think I've ever really payed much attention to background music in a game like i did this one.

I guess now is where I farm for the materials to make the Ares 90 Skell. I wish there was like a guide for what enemies I should aim for to get then best equipment, just seems like there are only little bits of information lying around and nothing super useful. Ah whatever.

Alien Elma > Mim Elma. Though you need to craft her outfit which blows, at least you get to choose to use her Alien Form in the options. I was a bit surprised they made Lao the final boss, though I guess it was more like the final boss was just a mindless beast named Lao. The final cut scene seems like a set up for a possible sequel, how are they alive on Mira? Who took Lao's lifeless Mim? What translates all these languages for them? How did all these races get sucked into Mira anyway? The full story isn't there intentionally and side quests only give you more questions about what's going on.

Mario Party 9

I did a party on Blooper Beach. It was fun! The only thing I didn't like is that it was repetitive going to the star island multiple times. But it was relaxing thinking that I was actually at a beach.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

got this yesterday and already made it to the middle of episode 3

wow it's so addictive

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Brought Teatsu to BLADE and it seems like I've finally gotten past the tutorial portion. I'll probably mess around with some side missions now.

A couple questions for those who have played. What level should I be right now and how do I upgrade my field abilities like the Mechanical or Biological stuff?

For mission 4, I'd be at around Level 17-18/somewhere in the high tens or low 20s. IIRC, after that mission, you will be able to upgrade your field skills (Mechanical, Archaeological, and Biological) based on your blade level. What you should do when you get to that point is upgrade Mechanical until you max it out. There are more Mechanical treasures than there are Biological and Archaeological and Mechanical is required to place the probes on the world, which you can warp too. Biological is pretty much useless, and Archaeological is not that great either.

Tomodachi Life

You can start Mission 4 at level 15 and finish it at Level 17. I got to level 18 just after the boss fight. Dont grind so early in the game without even attempting the mission first, often times you'll find you can complete it at whatever level you are anyway when you reach the boss and there's always basic/normal missions and exploring as a backup if you're desperate and can't win the fight. Like I guess you can if you're paranoid but just trust yourself a little, the challenge is good. The only time I actually had to grind was for the final boss and that was more of a Skell issue since I didn't have a Level 50 one.

Being just enough or on par with the boss level is a good indication of what level you should be to win. You just won't know until you make it to the boss. Make sure your equip your best stuff with good side effects because that shit makes a difference.

Also it might depend on what class you take, I was probably Winged Viper by then. Also don't be discouraged when this one Level 11 tyrant kicks your ass, that thing is brutal. Size of the enemy is something to keep in mind since the bigger they are, the stronger they are even if they're five levels below you.

Wii Sports: Resort. Amazing game, the sports are awesome.

I'm at level 2500 on swordplay showdown

good choice there

Yokai Watch

the story is dreadful in places, the ending goes from 0 to 100 real quick and recruiting yokai can be a massive pain, but otherwise i really liked this game. certainly filled a hole where pokemon used to be

there's a fuck-ton of post game content as well it seems so i'm gonna have fun(tm) trying to collect them all

favourite yokai designs were definitely chansin, reuknight and especially casanuva
edit: also blandon and rattelle how could i forget
i also love chilhuahua, venoct, blizzaria, and sheen because oh my god chansin's evos are awesome

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

Completely finished this game, it was a good time.

Fire Emblem

Reversed recruitment is interesting.

Etrian Odyssey IV

So I've been playing this a lot recently, this game is soooo fun. I've spent 90 hours on it and I've made it through the first floor of the fifth stratum, having done all the quests I could do so far. The music is total tops.

My standard party has a Landshark, Fortress, Medic, Runemaster and Sniper, which I've realised is basically a reincarnation of the EOU Story Mode party, but I also have a Dancer and Nightseeker on the side.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Beat the prisoner release chapter. Holy fuck this game's remix of Knight's Oath is top tier

EDIT: Kieran is amazing

Pokemon Red

Golduck takes forever to find. I got a Dewgong tho.

Fast Racing Neo

People who said novice was too hard need to toughen up. Mario Kart held their hands too much.
