What game did you last play?!?!?!?

Mario Superstar Baseball.

Super Mario: Star Road

There's this one Star Replica in Sandy Slide Secret, and I think whoever came up with the idea to put it there is a sadist. I still lave legit no idea how to get it.

Oh I love Super Mario Star Road, I've never beaten it though so I have no idea what Star Replicas are.

Anyways... Color Splash

Honestly I was being really dumb in Plum Park and the Tiny Forest, I game overed way to many times.

They show up in some really ridiculous spots after you beat Hidden Palace Finale. Most of them are manageable, but the ones in Sandy Slide Secret and the Metal Cap level (forget what it's called) are just stupidly difficult.

Brawlhalla

Just added this game to my Steam library, and so far I enjoy it. Sure, it makes you want to spend money, as getting anything in this game is impossible, but it is really strategic and takes a while to get used to. Also because I have nothing to play in my Steam library.

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest

ok so it's been literal months since I stopped this so I've forgotten who my ships were but now that I've reestablished them I can say fuck these maps are ass so I know why I suddenly lost motivation

the ninja map was actually kinda great but damn I am not looking forward to chapter 18 where
you have to kill all bosses within 20 turns and protect the hoshidans

i feel like i need to grind supports just so i can get more maps to level up my units damn

Been plowing through some Wario Land II on the 3DS.

Finished the main game, now backtracking for the treasures and alternate chapters.

Ys Origin

Once I realised that i could control when to blow up Hugo's mines, I beat worm guy. I did only have 5 HP left though.

I also just realised all these bosses are the same from Ys 1 and 2. Some look pretty similar but some are completely different. Kinda cool to see the then and now between them.

100% Orange Juice

I got those last two achievements.

The costume/hair colour select looks nice now. and I can save my colour combinations instead of just sticking with the one I remember.

just imagine in a parallel universe oj is still relevant. sounds like a good universe.

Fire Emblem Conquest

ok, azura, calm it with the whole greater good spiel because its like after every map "azura we had to kill someone", "oh we just need to figure out whats wrong with father that is our goal and nothing else"

Up to chapter 20
It is time for the dreaded Mr. Fuuga's Wild Ride, hope it lives up to its name

also nabbed forrest, kana and shigure from baby bubble land but have more to do once the skills i want for inheritance are available. Forrest is probably my favourite child unit so far, he's actually got a lot more personality than i thought he would and his story is cute

Mario 64: Chaos Edition

This game. That is all I have to say.

Street Fighter III: Third Strike

One of the greatest Street Fighter games ever made.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

I literally never knew there was a Free For Fall mode

Mario 64: Chaos Edition

No, no, this isn't ok! I can't just randomly lose health!

Donkey Kong 64

Man, I'm really close to the end.

Are you planning to finish it 101%?
No but I've come really close. I know which Golden Bananas I'm missing but getting ALL bananas and banana coins will be a hassle. Beaver Bother is REALLY ANNOYING, I don't want to revisit Gloomy Galleon and the only bananas I can be 100% sure belong to a certain Kong are Diddy's. I might try later but now, 97% is enough.

Tales of berseria

i am absolutely loving this game although at this point velvet seems to be kinda becoming unstable, hopefully nothing too bad happens. :(

Super Mario World

I'm just gonna say, I suck at this game.

Fire Emblem Fates

in which azura continues to be inconsistently written

well I guess I know why it's called Mr. Fuga's Wild Ride because that was the most ridiculous map in the game yet. I felt like I wasn't in control of anything and had to wing it for most of if not all of the map. Thanks to the ridculous cycles of the wind and narrow walkways I'd find most of my units pushed into unnecessary confrontations in low health but I managed to get out without a scratch or lost unit. In particular the Priestess with Lunge was very evil and I almost lost my tank Effie to mr fuga prematurely before I could realise what was happening.

disclaimer: I am doing hard casual, but out of fairness I reset every time a unit dies as if I was playing classic, however if the map is ridiculous and Ive reset enough times I just let it happen and become reckless af to win

but the primary supporting argument for "why I chose to be a pleb" would be the succeeding chapter, the eternal staircase. holy shit what an awful map. I can't imagine the nightmare of trying to complete that shitty escape objective without losing a single unit on lunatic or even hard. there are so many choke points and the dragon viens are not properly spaced out so you end up with an incredible reflux of enemies about halfway and damn i just gave up and let the mighty midori escape and everyone else die. i couldve redone the map and tried focusing on taking out those stoneborns but geez. "i hope she suffers" well thanks

the pacing of this route is fucking awful as well
one minute we're eating dinner with our archenemies
the next we're facing a (newly introduced from the pov of this route) wind tribe to prove once again that corrin is the chosen one
next, lilith, a character who never shows up in the main story at all, dies, and azura and xander keep driving home the fight for the greater good spiel

honestly beginning to see why this was the route with the worst story. its structure is a mess and the motive completely falls apart towards the end

shoutout to the child units in this game btw they certainly make up for any lack of resources and exp, once again mozu!midori is one of my top units, along with felicia!forrest and camilla!velouria. shame there isnt much opportunity to grind for good inheritance skills in this route otherwise id have more children atm

although i've yet to get what i hope to be my best unit yet, corrin!ophelia with nohrian trust and astra. i just got soleil with luna and sol so guess who's gonna be fast support friends on every map ever

but moving on to the heart of the matter, soleil's map. i can't decide if it was stupid or bloody brilliant because i actually felt like strategist assigning units to block off certain pathways into the center of the city and frantically rearranging them to deal with each wave. the dread that one of my units wouldnt have been able to hold up their end set in once the enemies in the corners came through but i managed to pull it off without any deaths (including keeping all 4 mercs alive! nice rewards for that), bar one. niles took a crit at the very end but i wasnt gonna reset because the next turn the boss was going down so oh well i guess i'll capture him in the revelations route.

more on soleil, for a character who has been localised to like girls so much and compete with her father for dates (she even scores a date with a girl at the end of her chapter) im finding it hard to accept the fact that she cant s-support any female units at all, even corrin.

well
she can s-support forrest lmao

regardless i hope intsys offers more options for relationships next game but i wont be too mad if they dont

anyway my heart sank when i read the title of the next chapter
sakura
so i guess its time to board the feels train
