I had to go to the doctors today to get a new prescription for my glasses. (I lost mine)

I had already told my girlfriend that I wasn't going to be coming to school, so whats the best thing to do? Come into school after it ends and surprise her at her locker! It worked, she was very surprised, and was pretty happy to see me. =D

Even though having to go to the eye doctors sucked, and i had to have my eyes dilated, i'll have new glasses in a week so thats good.

I can't deny that trusting people will just screw you over in the long run but having people actively avoid you is still not a good thing. You shouldn't fear or have others fear you just to avoid being exploited. I think it's a lot smarter to just keep things that can be used against you to yourself so you can maintain an image that makes people want to not avoid you.

But it's not my problem. You run your own life, whether I think it's a stupid mentality or not is irrelevant. Also,

I remember when we watched the movie in English class after reading the book and at the part when Lennie is in the barn before killing Curley's wife everyone looks like they're about to cry because they know what happens next but then they started totally laughing after she died.
