the official "u did it" thread

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Haven't done it yet, but not sure whether I'll come back on when I get back. So I saw my favourite comedian, Ed Byrne, live today in the second live comedy gig I've ever been to.

spanish is cooler

The best language, however, is clearly German. If only because you can smash two words together to make a new word.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Its only 8am so haven't actually done anything yet. Will be going to a picnic / BBQ later, though, which should be fun. Going to try out some new makeup strats, awyiss.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I'm fucking done with this place. Except I have no choice but to stay.

If anyone cares, here's what happened last night and today:

So yesterday I finally figured out how to get Internet in my bedroom upstairs. I would plug my laptop into the Ethernet cord down here and set it up as a hotspot. Then, video games online for everyone in the house who knew the password. But then I was playing MKWii online and suddenly I was disconnected. My roommate was disconnected from his Call of Duty game as well. Upon going downstairs I discovered my laptop was absent from the spot I left it. I loudly said "What the hell, where is my laptop" and a staff member comes out of the office and says it is in there and "You cannot have this downstairs when you are not with it." So fine, whatever. Come morning, the fucking staff is saying that we are no longer allowed to connect laptops (or anything else except the crappy firewall computer) to the cord. So I waited until this afternoon when that shift left. Of fucking course we have a resident who likes to be a teacher's pet to the staff and enforce their stupid-ass rules when they're not around. Fuck.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Just got back from the gig and my vocal cords are hurting from the amount I was laughing

wtf is even the point in those rules

Re: today you did things noteworthy

They're control freaks. At least i got the resident to shut up and let me set it up so it's cool until after the weekend when the strict morning shift is back on.

today I did things and screw up

My brother just paid off his 3DS fully and get his receipt back. So he just put it on the desk and I use the same place to have my dinner. When I saw that paper, I unfold it and read. But my mother just saw it and grabbed the paper.
RIP my brother. He have a punishment for not using his phone during weekdays.
And I feel guilty.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I was the lord of bread today at work.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Finished a project in school. We had to build a model freight lift that would move up and down three floors and implement a kill switch that, when pressed, would stop the elevator and return it to its closest floor.

my code is so messy it'd probably give 22 nightmares for the next few months

Re: today you did things noteworthy

sounds cool, I skipped my tech credit, since I took advanced math

your school is awesome

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I returned.

I finally wrote out the first draft of the prologue for a fiction I've planned out. Now to re-draft, edit, and maybe it'll be decent.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

No, it's just a regular fiction. I need to focus more on bigger paragraphs. They're mostly 1-2 lines on my writing app.
