So today (well, technically yesterday), for my class' tutorial we had to run around the University and take photos of a bunch of designs, then comment on how they convey (or fail to convey) their affordances and other meanings.

Correct Rejection: When an object can't do something and you perceve that it can't do something
False affordance: When an object can't do something but you perceive that it can
Perceived affordance: When an object can do something and you perceive that it can
Hidden affordance: When an object can do something but you perceive that it can't

My group ended up with around 40 photos, but these were my top three:

So yeah, it was a pretty fun lesson in all. You should have a look at the stuff around you and see what their designs are conveying, you'd be surprised how much meaning you can find in the things you walk past everyday.

Re-sat my ISA. Almost burst into laughter halfway through as I saw a Yr. 8 test, and one of the questions was "What metal is the compass needle made out of?" and the person wrote "Metal"

Well, during my English exam, it was our math teacher supervising us. AND SHE WAS GRADING MY MATH COPY AT ONE POINT AAAAARGGGH DON'T HIDE IT FROM ME


Science and English comprehension were too easy. Are IGCSE's that easy?

Let me tell you how easy a GCSE is, on the day of one our exam in science, with the modules B5, C5, and P5 I couldn't remember what B5 even was. I still passed the entire exam extremely well. A-Levels on the other hand, like my ISA are a lot harder.

Well, IGCSE is a little harder than GCSE, omg I wonder what shit they are giving you.


Science. Our class were divided in two groups for convenience. The first group (the majority), weren't allowed calculators. And the physics requires the calculator. And us four (the second group) won the lucky raffle and were allowed our calculators 8)

I just got back from my job shadowing at Bayer. It was so exciting. I learned so many things, and it intensified my plans to be a chemical engineer

Our rugby team won the first match of the playoffs against the #4 team; now we're on to the championship!

The final score of our game was like 40something - 12. I didn't get to play this game, but I didn't really care too much.

So I went into Gimp, downloaded some images from someone's DeviantArt, and made my own sprite set! (Well all I did was add a white background, but still).

So everyone failed their German test. That bitch of a teacher put impossible questions, and due to an error we only got the essay question 30 mins after the thing actually started. So I didn't do my essay.

I got a combo of 59 in Pokémon Link Battle (Pokémon Battle Trozei), which barely beats my personal best of 48. One day I'll hit 99, and it shall be glorious.
