I just got back from Freshman Orientation at my college. Biggest news: I got my schedule. It is kind of weird, and has no science classes first semester, which makes me a little sad. They say that I need to take Calculus before any of my science classes.

Yep, from 4th to 21st June. Though all great Pokémon plush from Japan were taken the first two days.

Watched How To Train Your Dragon 2, and it was a great movie even though I only saw half of the first one. Also movies here are really cheap compared to the US, it only cost me 150 rupees (around $1.5) to get in.

had a real tiring day, walked about 3.5 miles into college to meet an external verifier, the guy that's gonna mark all of our work. he was a friendly guy, knew his stuff, asked us questions about the course and all that, and then we were free to go about an hour later. after that, i walked about 4 miles back (i got a lift .5 miles to my friend's house so that we could walk in together)
now i can't stop sleeping

Yeah, I've heard lots of stuff about the US dollar being really strong there. You can pick up a few nights at the best hotels there for $100, supposedly.

I got a 50 cent raise at work for "picking up the slack" which entails me getting the hours I wanted anyways and a somewhat consistent schedule which I also wanted anyways.
