Today so far has been crazy. I found an old check my grandfather had given me for my 19th birthday back in January 2014, and walked to the bank to cash it. They were closed. So on my way back I asked some random guy if any banks were open, and he gave me a bus ticket and told me to go to Price Chopper. I ride the bus and accidentally overshoot my stop so I have to trudge through snow to get to Price Chopper. Well guess what they can't cash my check unless I have some kind of account for 30 days. So some lady overhears this and offers to give me a ride to Walmart. We get to Walmart and they originally say they can't cash it either, but after explaining what I went through they made an exception. So then I have no way to get back home but the same lady from before offers to take me home. On the way she has to stop to get her oil changed so I had to sit and let the fried chicken I bought at Walmart get cold. Finally I'm back and thankfully the chicken still tastes good. So yeah that was only the morning. Damn.

Seriously though, who gives someone a cheque for their birthday? I mean if you don't wanna give cash then there are debit gift cards and whatnot avaliable.

Anyway, first week at the new job has gone well :>

my grandfather gives me a cheque for my birthdays and Christmases, but that's only because he lives a good 400 miles away from me

i met with the developer of darkest dungeon today (ive never even heard of the game till now, but apparently its one of the top selling games on steam as of this month, and also the month it released)
the game itself looks kinda gruesome and not really my cup of tea but he kind of interested me in some aspects of it
hes a real chill dude, but yea anyway he came to my class and talked about his game for like 2 1/2 hours out of a 3 hour lecture ahaha
it was pretty cool, i might buy it on steam when its cheaper

That's pretty cool, he was a programmer I'm guessing? I saw that game in my queue earlier this week and have been considering getting it, but not until after I grab This War Is Mine and totally play it lel

yea, i guess. his name was tyler, and he said him and his buddy did like the core work while 5 other made like art and some other stuff, something like that.
he mostly just talked about how he raised funds and the business aspects of the gaming industry, like he said the dude who made don't starve pitched in like 75k and i was like shet dude

fuck ur shitty games when is it time for magica its been 4 months
