Competed in my FTC Robotics qualifier competition. Through a freak of technicalities and the judges poring over their rules, my team moves on to the State level. I was prepared for everything except one team's scouting questions. Why some of those had anything to do with the competition, I'll never know.

Few of you will care, but I expanded Metroid Wiki's article on Samus (it was lacking a section on Fusion).

Yesterday I went to a regional math competition and scored 29th out of 206 kids.
Which would be impressive if one of my teammates didn't get into the top 10.

Also I met Sean Landeta today.

Started School again. Year 9. Got a good class, and each of my electives have friends in them :)

I always wondered how Australian vacation would work - you have off in the summer too, just different months. Interesting.

Could you repeat that, I didn't understand a single word. other than we both have summer break during summer. which would be kind of obvious, since its name is summer break.

EDIT: Also, I realized I've grown, height wise and mentally wise. Over the past few months I had a growth spurt and I've learnt alot about learning from my mistakes (fights, being annoying) on the forum and have improved myself based on each new thing. I'm trying to improve on my decisions while under the influence of being annoyed/hot/sweaty. Since I usually be a dick or do something i regret. which leads me to dread coming back on the forum for the time being.

Well. Australia, being in the Southern Hemisphere, is currently in summer right now, which means that they have just ended Summer Vacation. Meanwhile, summer in the Northern Hemisphere doesn't start until June, so that's when we have our vacation off from school. So I was wondering if you had the long break from school during June-September or from sometime around November or December.

What a coincidence I've been having a shitty winter over here in Jersey. We got our second snowstorm of the season yesterday.

All I got yesterday was a light flurry. We've been getting no snow since last year.

My holidays started 7th of December & 6th of February (My Birthday) for last summer break but this year I get out on th 30th of November, since I'm Year 9 now :P

Anyway, Back On-Topic: I now have collected $190 :D Mostly from Birthday cards but also Canteen money for school (that I put in my money box instead of buying food) & Money for doing chores ($7 a week). Also my family pays me for cans of Pepsi Max, since they crave for soft drink and I'm the one with the 24 Pack. I managed to get about $10 from giving 4 Cans away.
