We say soccer because of British schools kids that used slang and abbreviations.

There were two types of football back in the day,"Rugby Football" and "Association Football". The major difference here was the use of hands.

Because of shortening and slang, Association Football became Assoc which became a number of other things before becoming "soccer".

Therefore, it is all the Brit's fault for inventing the word "Soccer".

Isn't learning fun?

Well, some sources will differ between regions, such as how in America the first Harry Potter film is called the Sorcerer's Stone, whereas it's original name here in England is the Philosopher's Stone. So when a website will be talking about the film, they will use either the original name, or the American name.

Sort of like how the bible has had several different changes through different forms of Christianity over the many years.

Watched tiny bits of Twilight with my mom.

But since I haven't read the books and I couldn't hear very well, I had no clue what they were talking about. :/

Edward doesn't sparkle in the movie as far as I can tell.

Haha that's awesome.

I didn't do much today, case worker came by and talked about my med problem, and then I decided to move meds to my room, hopefully being able to take them on a more frequent basis.
