Re: today you did things noteworthy

I think it was better, and at the same time it was closer to its book then the first one was, I wonder if there's a connection there

Re: today you did things noteworthy

It felt kind of stretched out, though. Hardly a problem but just something I noticed.

Nearly died running away from someone who wanted my Domino's pizza with hot dog stuffed crust

Also took Physics exam. I think I failed.

Luckily, the two hardest exams are done. Now I have Global Civics and Latin, my two best classes.

This will be a cakewalk.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Got an allergic reaction at school from a small piece of bread, then ended up not being able to eat lunch...
Having allergies sucks.

Seriously? Domino's pizza? I mean I can understand if it was some other pizza chain resturant like Pizza Ranch or Imo's, but Domino's?
Domino's is the best, don't diss. I like how you gravitated on that part of the story rather than my almost death

My school has a buyback program and they gave me 26 dollars back for this book.

Glad to hear you didn't break it. I've broken things out of anger before and it's always led to negative consequences.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I learned that my home football team (Seahawks) is the top team in the NFL this year, with 12 wins and 2 losses 8)

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I typed up my first "review" type thing. It's more of an observation thing I did, but w/e.

Soundless Voice said:
I've been listening to some of the Kagamine's songs and covers, and I've noticed some things about their pronunciations/enunciations and stuff.

Len:

In the song Spice! the syllables are a little bit messed up. "Ka" sounds a bit like "ga" and vice-versa, along with a few other mispronunciations. Additionally, the English-derived words like "supaisu" which is "spice" sound a little off.

In Sadistic Vampire, when he says the English-derived word for "hyena" it sounds really mispronounced. If the video I first saw didn't have the Romaji in it, I probably couldn't tell what he was saying.

In the 96neko x Len "Ah, It's A Wonderful Cat Life" parody, when Len says words like "Yatta!" it sounds like "Yotto!"

And I've noticed a few other English-derived issues in other covers.

So, in total, Len has a lot of issues with English-derived words.

As for Rin:

Rin does a little bit better, but like Len, she sometimes mixes up "Ka" and "ga" syllables, and also "Te" and "De" syllables. I am mainly thinking of her and Len's official cover of Magnet, but it happens in other songs.

Rin does a bit better with most English-derived words than Len, but still has a few issues, like her official Migikata no Chou as an example.

As an additional note;

Rin's syllables and stuff seem to be sharper than Len's; Len's seem to be more...what's the word...rounded.

However, this kind of makes it easy to tell who's singing if Rin is singing at Len's pitch (example; Proof of Life) or Len is singing at Rin's pitch (Example; Servant of Evil at the chorus).

I am not dissing either of the Kagamines in any way, I just thought I'd type up an observation thingy.

Also, I think they would've done better (in voicebank terms) if Crypton Future Media wasn't a dumbass to focus on newer characters, give appends to Rin & Len and every other Vocaloid2, then give Kaito, Miku, and Gumi English voicebanks, but not them.

They should've AT LEAST redone Rin and Len's original voicebank. The appends are okay and all, but most of them sound like they have a really bad head-cold.

I will probably do this type of thing with other Vocaloids, like Gumi, Luka, Meiko, or another Vocaloid.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Trying to plan something for Rin and Len's birthday (official character birthday)...

It's in 8 days (AKA December 27th) and I don't know what to do! I was a day late last year, and I'm NOT letting that happen again!

I'm so weird...
