And then... there's the Star Beam incident.
The gang was helping Mite T., the big Toad, with recovering his lost pet Chomp—but when they finally tracked him down, he bit Kooliver, the Sledge Bro, and caused him to swell up pretty badly.
My character, Why Guy, told him there was a cure—that the power of the Stars could heal all wounds, and unleashed a Star Beam at him.
In the mods I've been working on for the RP, Power Stars are consumable items, either to give you 30 seconds of invulnerability, or to fire a one-hit KO beam. I also, as DM, have the ability to freeze time.
Right before the Star Beam collided with him, I stopped time, and he hit us with this gem.
