Looks interesting. Only Studio Ghibli film I've seen is Kiki's Delivery Service, but IIRC I liked that, so I'll probably see this.

When I first saw the comercial I thought they were bringing back Toonami on Cartoon Network, but when I saw the Disney Logo, I was kinda disapointed. But it does seem kinda good. I'll check with my cousin first. (She's one of those anime nerds)

EDIT: lol, the poster says Betty White's in it.

Isn't that what Pokémon is for? Maybe Disney just wanted to make a cute little movie to win an award, and they thought that anime looked the cutest. And it's not realy the little mermaid, cause there's some major deferences. (e.g. I think there were some swamp monsters in the commercial)

That's what always riffs me.
Pokémon the anime is based on the games, however, outside of Japan, the anime came first, so most people think that Pokémon the games is based on a kiddy anime, when in fact, it was Games, TCG, Anime. Not Anime, Games, TCG.


Also, Disney isn't making this film, they're just distributing it.
 
I will never watch this movie. Know why? One of the stars is Frankie Jonas. Sibling of the Jonas brothers.

i think this movie will be good because it has a storyline that percked my interests when i read about it

i also dont care about the voice actors because if you can only hear their voice who cares its animated

I'll go see it when it's on TV, I'm too busy doing important crap to go to the movies.
 
I'm probably not going to watch it until it comes out on DVD in the US.

I was members of three anime clubs. I left two and got kicked from the third when the US government learned about the contents of my harddrive. It's not child porn dammit, we're not in Canada or that other country.

Especially when you're only like a couple years older than the girls in the pictures.
