Even for the Minions, this wasn't funny. I was in an audience of children and I only heard a few chuckles. Like, this was the bare minimum of effort.

I think movies like this where half of the unnecessary people talk german with subtitles (or without, this was what bugged me the most about The Wolverine that like 60% of the japanese dialogue wasn't subtitled while some of it sounded like it had at least some relevance to the plot) in the english version are actually better to watch in german

Also in the middle of the movie it was so obviously cloned from Frantic that I was almost led to believe the ending would also be like it. And then it was revealed that Liam Neeson was actuall the killer. Pretty nice.
 
that reminds me of inglorious basterds where almost the whole movie is in german or french

then again, i prefer having subtitles. in the minions movie the minions are already speaking english words in prehistoric times and i was very confused about the implications of that

inglorious bastards is also better in the german version probably lol

well the french disalogue is still subtitled but everything else is clear
 
i guess but it would still be neat if theyd actually sub everything (and not just on the dvd where you can have subtitles for everything anyways)

The death (corruption) of the girl who controlled EVA 2 | EDIT: why the fuck didnt i just refer to her as asuka lol | was expected as all hell. But holy shit the music that was playing during when robot EVA 1 slaughtered angel EVA 2 was unfitting as hell.

And so was the music during the final when Shinji and Rei were technicaly causing the third impact and the happiest music ever plays. <---- EDIT: fucking one of the best scenes ever

Yeah though I'm quite glad I'm watching the movies instead of the anime since this is like snk, nothing is ever explained.

Like you still don't know what Seele is doing, who that guy on the moon is, and what Shinji's father is planning. But at least I've managed to keep up with the plot.
 
I like Stand and Deliver mostly but a lot of the things the teacher does pisses me off.

Weird, in the viewing I went to see, also with mostly children I heard quite a lot of laughter.
