What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

Mockingjay Part 1

Pretty good movie; I haven't read the book yet and it's a brutal enough series that all the action sequences are like "omg, who's gonna die, oh nooo". Dunno if I'll go to see Part 2 in theatres or just wait for it to come out on DVD and rent it like this one.
 
It was alright. The action scenes are pretty good, especially the opening scene, but the plot is extremely uninteresting.
 
yeah i definitely got the feeling that it got bad reviews mostly because it wasn't a Deep Bond Movie like skyfall and casino royale or whatever

i mean those are the only other bond movies i've seen so i can't really judge

but yeah. with skyfall at least i felt a lot more tension and stuff and this was kinda like. alright

i'm REALLY fucking tired of the whole "evil surveillance" plot. it was okay with furious 7 because that movie was stupid anyway, it was okay with captain america because it actually had a good plot, but here it felt really ham-fisted and stupid. blofeld was REALLY badly developed, his motive felt really forced and that makes me sad because i love christoph waltz but he only really had one big talking scene

that said, loved the action. the opening scene was amazing, that long take was really great. the explosions were p impressive too

Absolutely awful. Terrible. One of the worst movies of the year. I haven't felt so let down by a movie in a long time.
 
Inside Out.

I loved it and I say that it indeed rivals, if not surpasses, Pixar's classics.
 
Pretty sure Good Dinosaur won't be as good as Inside Out, though.

I hoped I'd love, and I really did. Honestly, I must have been annoying several people on that plane from my constant laughing.

Inside Out
I loved it. Definitely one of the best Pixar movies out there.

Again, loved it, even if it was oversaturated with Rihanna songs. And Jim Parsons playing a social outcast with a minimal grasp of human ways, who'd of guessed it? :P

Focus
You can get my full thoughts on this movie in the upcoming 'Shroom issue. Just a hint: I hated it.

yeah idk the reviews online seem to be pretty lackluster but i really had pretty few problems with it, it's definitely my favorite in the series and one of my favorite movies of the year

to this day i still don't get why people love this movie

all i got out of it were a bunch of fat jokes and really awkward groping

jason statham was tops though
