Life Of Pi. The 3D is awesome compared to other movie I watched before it is at the start those animals are cool.

That's an amazing movie, the book is great too. I absolutely loved the visual brilliance and foreshadowing of the scene where

Pi is screaming at the hyena that killed the orangutan, and the tiger just shoots right out underneath him into the camera and kills the hyena.

Skyfall... kicked ass!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Well after 3 years I finally saw this movie

Even though I knew it was coming from the book I was still very sad when Snape killed Dumbledore. Slughorn was a good character though even if the Tom Riddle memories where kind of creepy.

Now I just need to see Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2.

The Raven

Pretty good, though that's probably the Poe bias talking.

Saw The hobbit yesterday..AMAZING!!!!,i loved everything about it and of course my favourite character was gandalf

Radagast was very weird haha

My parents and I saw The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Just as a bit of background: I saw the original Lord of the Rings trilogy years ago, back in the days when I was still mostly a kid, and I'd only be interested in animated movies and stupid stuff, or I'd just be along for the ride with my family then they saw a movie. The first movie I saw was Two Towers, then Return of the King, then eventually, Fellowship of the Ring on DVD. I got the basics out of it, but I could only really follow Frodo, Sam, and Gollum's journey, everything else I had a hard time grasping. After seeing this movie, though, I'm curious to go back and watch them again, to refresh my memory. As for my parents, my mom NEVER cared for this sort of thing. In the movie, she nearly fell asleep during all the chase and action scenes. My dad loved the original LotR books, but didn't much like The Hobbit. Still, he enjoyed this movie a fair amount, said everything was pretty much what he remembered. Still, they were both surprised to see the movie end on a cliffhanger, and even moreso when I told them there was going to be a trilogy.

As for myself... I dunno, I really enjoyed it. A lot of funny moments, some intense action scenes, though I think it's been said that pretty much any scene that LOOKS like it could turn into an action scene will though I don't have a problem with that. Aside from Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf, as well as Sarumon's cameo, I couldn't really remember any of the characters' names, not even the dwarf leader's. Something that stuck out to me, though, was that none of the dwarves died. Yeah, I haven't read the books, as you can tell, but still, you'd think a group so numerous with interchangeable characters, they can afford to lose one or two. But then again, it IS a relatively small group compared to, say, an army, and they need all the help they can get with this journey.

Speaking of which, I know this is technically the first story in the series, but in the case of the movies, this is technically a prequel... Well, again, the beginning of the movie shows Bilbo and Frodo preparing for the party at the beginning of Fellowship of the Ring, so perhaps it's more of a "Star Wars" thing... Only, you know, done much, MUCH better. The fact that they actually use real New Zealand landscapes is definitely a plus, and it all looks great... But the point I was originally trying to make was that, there are obvious a lot of things building up to what goes down in Lord of the Ring, and although my memories foggy on the details, I know that a lot of serious shit goes down in those stories. Compared to that, a group of dwarves, a wizard, and a hobbit, going on a journey to get their mountain back from a dragon doesn't seem as big or important as that. But then again, not everything has to be an "end-of-all-living-things" crisis, and as a simple adventure story, I will say that I was thoroughly entertained.

The Avengers Assemble

Saw most of it at school. Hopefully watching the end tomorrow. It's a great film. Iron Man is my favourite Avenger but he was a jerk to Captain America. I like the Loki vs Thor battle.

Watched a couple of films

Saw the end of Avengers Assemble. The big battle was epic.

Home Alone
Really funny film. The best part was with the Pizza guy and the gun noises.

Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger

Not as good as the first movie but it still had some funny bits in
A Donkey goes down a cliff on a rope.
