Hello, all you readers of The 'Shroom! What's that? You were expecting somebody else? Ah, I see. Well, Shoey had some business he needed to attend to, so he asked if I could fly in and help out. All the same, November's issue is here, so let me direct you to some highlights!

First up, we have our annual Awards Director Election this month! Do you want to step up and try your hands at running the Awards process from start to finish next year? Or if not, do you want to see who is running so you can ask them questions and pass along suggestions? In either case, be sure to check the election out over the course of the month.

Speaking of elections, next month, we'll have the 'Shroom Director Election, so now's the time to be thinking about if you want to helm the paper next year.

Returning to this month, we also have a sizeable special section by ScaryStar, who has put together a custom manual for Mario & Luigi Brothership. Whether you're interested in the game and want a low-down on the basics or you just want to relive the days of creative, thematic game manuals, you'll want to take a look at this passion project!

As someone who thoroughly enjoyed Mario & Luigi: Brothership, I'm very happy to see such a well made manual with heart, soul and dedication put into it!

Many thanks to those who nominated my Cooking Guide collab with Boo1268 and Anton from last month's 'Shroom special for this month's Poochy's Picks and voted the section into third place for Fake News Section of the Month! It pleases me as punch to see that people appreciated the effort put into the section enough to both give it a shout-out in Poochy's Picks as well get into a tie for third place in Section of the Month, marking my first time getting onto the Section of the Month leaderboard since rejoining the community back in 2021! But while I did most of the work, I don't deserve all the credit, as Boo1268 and Anton deserve just as much credit for making the collab possible in the first place and being so kind as to make a guest appearance in honor of his 'Shroom milestone while giving his trademark tongue in-cheek narrative respectively!
