Welcome to the hide and seek competition!​

This is a fun idea I just came up with! In this game, players will play 3 games of hide and seek, with one person being the seeker.

Here's how this all works:
​
  • Players sign up to play the game. It doesn't matter how many do as long as it's more than one person. Sign ups are available until 00:01 March 2. The game will start immediately after signups close. In other words, Day one of the hide and seek competition is at 00:01 GMT March 2.​
  • Of the participants that sign up, one of them will be the seeker. To make it fair, I will add all players to a wheel and then spin it. Whoever it lands on will be the seeker. Everyone else will be hiders.​
  • The hiders and seeker will not be revealed to the public until after the game ends.​
  • Each day, the hiders will choose a room to hide in this house. More than one person can choose the same room. It doesn't matter how many players hide in one room. At 00:01 GMT, I will announce what happened in the day. If the seeker chooses a room where hiders are, they are eliminated from the game. Additionally, the room the seeker chooses is removed and becomes unavailable for the rest of the game.​
  • This game is played throughout 3 days, one game of hide and seek per day. To choose a room, please send me a PM about where you will hide/search before 00:01 GMT! If you don't PM me before then, you'll be eliminated. If the seeker doesn't PM me, I will have to replace them using the wheel.​
  • I will keep track of everything and will post the progress of the entire game at the very end. After each day I will post the results of the day and who got eliminated.​
  • Please do not PM each other/cheat! This is supposed to be a game of surprise.​
  • Remember to have fun! This is nothing serious and only a game.​

  • Living Room​
  • Kitchen​
  • Bathroom​
  • Bedroom​

Hello everyone! I'm going to make some changes to the rules because of another event: Scribble Labs 2 - Double Vision!! More notably:

  • The amount of rooms is reduced from 10 to 4. This is to make things more fair for the seeker.
  • The amount of days of when this game is played is reduced from 5 to 3. There is barely any engagement needed but I don't want this to take up too much time for those participating in the aforementioned Scribble Thread.

I will update these rules in my first post!

Ok, sure, but on the weekdays I can only play after online college courses end. About 2-3 PM. Weekends, heck, I can play starting at 1 PM.
 

An update on time:​

Because the game started at 10:00 AM EST, This would only allow 10 hours for people to submit a choice. This would be a problem in areas where it would be night time during this, and so players would be sleeping and therefore not have any time to respond.

Because of this, I have decided to start the game on March 2, 00:01 GMT, and each day would last 24 hours, giving everyone plenty of time. I'm sorry for not accounting for this beforehand.

Hopefully the games I decide to host in the future will be much more refined than this. I'm still learning!​

I'm going to spin it to see who will be the seeker. Afterwards, I will PM everyone individually and tell them their role. The seeker must not reveal themselves or let themselves be known to the public. This is supposed to be suspenseful and surprising!

In those PMs, please use them to tell me your decisions across the 3 days. Don't create new PMs, just use the ones I provided.

DAY 1 IS DONE!​

The results:​

  • The seeker chose the Kitchen!​
  • @Technetium and @Fizzle were hiders who chose the Kitchen. They are out of the game. Thanks for your participation!​

Players still in the game:​

Round 2 starts now!​

The Kitchen is now unavailable for the rest of the game. That leaves:​
  • Living Room
  • Bathroom
  • Bedroom

For all players: choose one of these three rooms to hide in! You can stay in the same room if it is still around or you can choose a different one. PM me your choice! Good luck to everyone!​
