I want to take a moment to shout out KISS. They're one of the most iconic bands of all time, but I get the impression that younger generations don't really listen to their music. They have a (not undeserved) reputation for being extremely money focused, but they're also very musically skilled and experimented with lots of different style and genres. For an introduction I'd recommend the MTV Unplugged album. It's a great performance and is a good retrospective of their work up to that point, featuring some of the big hits like Rock 'N' Roll All Night as well as deep cuts like A World Without Heroes (from the infamous album Music from the Elder). My other recommendation for a beginner is Alive! Not as definitive as MTV Unplugged due to only covering material from their first three albums, but legendary performances and really shows the big and bombastic KISS experience.
