I dont Know about you but i was a HUGE fan of skylanders back in the day and i still am now the series main hook of toys to life was SO GOOD it inspired others to attempt to follow in there foot steps with differing ranges of sucess for each one but where not here to talk about that where here to talk about a specific game in the skylanders series Skylanders Trap Team
For you see in Skylanders trap team the main gimic was that useing a special crystal instert and the respective crystal element you could capture some of the villains of the game and play as them for a short period of time and in the game certain villains could only be captured with a Trap of there element but as i was looking at the villains i got to thinking how do some of the villains fit into there respective element?
Well being inspired by Lockston and Gnoggings Pokemon Type explained videos i am to answer that question so join me as i try to explain how these repsecitve villians fit there types.
heres a video as an example

to elabotate further in skylanders there are ten elements those being
Water
Fire
Life
Earth
Air
Undead
Tech
Magic
Light
and Dark
In This Game and Skylanders Imaginators Kaos The Main Big Bad has his own Element Specific to him its only known as the KAOS element when you are able to play as him but this element for Kaos is Self explanatory
and each Villain has a specific element that they are assigned to certain elements have more villains than others but for now we will start with the elements that are featured as starter traps in the box those being the Life and Water Element

For The Life Element we Have
Sheep Creep
Broccoli Guy
Cuckcoo Clocker
Shield Shredder
Chompy
Chompy Mage

1744169704018.png

Sheep Creep:
For This Sinister Sheep The Typeing is Clear Sheeps are most commonly seen as plant eaters and usually are symbols of peace plus sheeps are animals and naturaly part of nature and finally during sheep creeps boss fight he launches tomatos at his foes
1744169947144.png

Broccoli Guy:
Broccoli Guy is a humanoid plant (No Duh) but besides that he can also heal others useing his magical staff and since healing is most commonly corolated to things such as druids and plant people in general it definetly fits
1744170147197.png

Shield Shredder:
Even Though this guy uses a mecanical saw shield and overall has a robot like design one thing to note is that unlike other robots he is not made of metal infact he is made of wood which in our book gives him a slight pass
1744170482979.png
1744170497674.png

Chompy + Chompy Mage:
Im Grouping Both The Chompy and Chompy Mage Togeter becuase they both relate to each other, so to start chompys are plant monsters that spawn from chompy pods which are also plants and since chompys are plants they fit in this element as for the chompy mage he is the master of chompys so much so that he can transform into a giant chompy and can summon and control all chompys which makes them fit perfectly into this category. however one character that seemingly dosent fit into the life category is....
1744170798430.png

Cuckcoo Clocker:
Cuckcoo Clocker should NOT be in the life element if anything he should be an air villain his moves dont have any implications of the life element his desgin doesnt fit and even his personaliy dosent fit the only thing i can come up with is that hes an animal but at east sheep creep had the excuse of being a land animal that feeds on grass the only thing i could find is that cuckcoo birds eat berrys and seeds but then again they also eat insects so the food argument dosent work here

Well Thats it for the Life Element and if you guys have any ideas or info regarding how weather or not certain villains fit there types make sure to reply to this thread with your thoughs and opinions tommorow we start on the water Element

I really think Activision and Toys For Bob should bring Skylanders back but all the toys are emulated; however you can only earn all of them one by one by skill you display in each game which earns you points. So if you need certain Skylanders to continue and haven't unlocked them yet you need to get more points by killing more enemies, not dying as much, etc. Or maybe even doing "perfectly" on a level and not having any of your Skylanders be defeated at all. Maybe also or alternatively unlock more the further you get in the game so by the time you need them you have them.

You know that sounds like a good idea thankfully someone is already doing that

alright next up is the water element we have
The Gulper
Brawl-n-Chain
Chill Bill
Cross Crow
Slobber Trap
Threat Pack
1744254775884.png

The Gulper:
The Gulper is a giant slug that leave behind a watery trail of ooze behind whenever he does a specific attack along side this he also has a trident he can use and since tridents are most commonly related to beings such as mermaids or atlantian creatures this would be a good compareison plus one final thing the gulper in the game drinks soda so much so that it allows him to grow to enormus size and since soda is a liquid this counts
1744254964283.png

Brawl-n-Chain:
he is a pirate walrus that uses bladed hook hands attached to chains to attack with and since walruses are normally sea fearing creatures plus the pirate astetic and his pirate like hook hands he definetly fits the bill
1744255259715.png

Chill Bill:
This Cool troll is calm colected and cool plus the fact that he also uses a freeze ray helps his case as being perfect for the water element espsically since he aims to freeze his competition
1744255535532.png

Slobber Trap:
This Dirty Dog is more inclined to be an earth villain or life villain but for some reson hes a water villain and i guess you could make the case that since in his game play he has a drooling attack and slobers all over the place he could get a pass but thats really all that connects him
1744255748080.png

Cross Crow:
And Now we get to the villains that least fit there element and on another note if i had a nickle for everytime a bird villain was in one of its incorrect elements and should have been an air villain i would have two nickles which isnt a lot but ist weird it happend twice right? but at the very lest cross crows arrows have a slight water effect when he launches them but other than that i got nothing
1744256094380.png

Threat Pack:
This Guy is the villain that should LEAST be in the water element not only does he use a mecanical jet pack that fires homeing missiles not only in the games lore is he a scientist and not only can he also fly with his jet pack BUT he is also a mecanic so WHY pray tell is he a water villain?

well Thats it for the water element and since we just recently talked about technology how about we cover the second bigest villain group in trap team? the Tech Villains

Alright Now ist time for the tech villains and for this group we have
Dr Krankcase
Brawlrus
Bruiser Crusier
Mab Lobs
Shrednaught
Trolling Thunder
1744340574943.png

Dr Krankcase:
While his perticular species is unkown what is known about him is that he is a steampunk inventor who walks around useing mecanical spider legs has his own factory but also creates wooden robots and uses toxic slime so yeah hes a mad scientist to the T so Tech fits him perfectly
1744340585961.png

Bruiser Crusier:
This Battle Bound Troll operates a giant mech that uses two giant punching fists to hurt his foes thus the tech element must be applyed
1744340595825.png

Shrednaught:
This Villain is actually two trolls operating a vehicle with a giant spinning mechanical saw attached to it so you can see why the element fits
1744340615677.png

Trolling Thunder:
This Villlain is a military troll operateing a troll shaped tank and since tanks (especially very scientific ones) like this one are considerd to be machines this one is pretty simple
1744341080003.png

Mab Lobs:
Honestly for this guy the connections for him are a bit flimsy but all i could gather is that he is a demolitions expert and wears some demolition/combat armor and since a lot of these villians seem to be commited to the theme of mechanical combat in one way or another i guess he fits here also fun fact did you know that Mab Lobs actually comes from another world mainly a mirror dimension where everything is reversed
1744341140200.png

Brawlrus:
Im Sure you all know the drill by now but Brawlrus should NOT be a tech villain sure he likes to fight and use a blunder bus but just becuase you like to fight dosent make you a tech villain plus not only is he a pirate and he fires a starfish at you for an attack and has a cannon but also his villain quest involves him going into a sinking SUBMARINE so yeah definetly not a tech villain

thats Three down Seven to go things are really starting to heat up in here and speaking of heat next we'll cover the fire villains

Thankfully this category is a bit shorter than the last one but still very fun! so for third group we have
Chef Pepperjack
Grinnade
Scrap Shooter
Smoke Scream
1744436854130.png

Chef Pepperjack:
Hes A spicy pepper Chef who uses cooking equipment and also likes BBQs so yeah hes kinda the perfect representation of this element in the first place and while he could be a life element due to him being a plant since red peppers are spicy i just would feel weird
1744436864024.png

Grinnade:
His Main Goal is to blow up this robotic grinade is on the same level as a bob-omb filled to the brim with EXPLOSIVE POWER
1744436876126.png

Smoke Scream:
A Troll That operates a flame thrower mech? Yep seems right to me and while he may use a mech the fact that it only uses a flamethrower and flame attacks makes it qualify
1744436885572.png

Scrap Shooter:
the only thing that corrolates Scrap Shooter as being a fire villain is that he can shoot explosive barrels at his foes but other than that hes got nothing infact most of the time he relates more to the tech element more than the fire element since hes a wooden robot and his villain quest involves him fixing a table ie mecanical work and some of you make the case that since he fires explosives that means that Grinnade should be tech also but to that i say no grinnade is a living BOMB who is only made to explode in a firey inferno scrap shooter just fires explosive projecties simmilar to Threat pack for example if a guy looks like a zombie but yet he throws rocks that guy isnt a earth villain just becuase he throws said rocks also Scrapshooters name just SOUNDS like a tech villain name am i right?

well thats another set done and since were talking about earth and rocks how about the earth villains next?

Alright Now Lets dig up the earth villains for this group we have
Golden Queen
Chomp Chest
Grave Clobber
Tussle Sprout
1744492661642.png

Golden Queen:
This Leader of the Doom Raiders is made out of pure GOLD and since gold is an all natural element found with in the earth this counts plus she has a egyptian theme to her and her lair refrenceing anchient Egyptian temples and the pyramids that not only are burried deep underground but also relates to archeology so for these reasons she fits
1744492723583.png

Grave Clobber:
The Golden Queens Greatest Champion grave clobber is a mummy plain and simple and since mummys are zombies that have been preserved like a fossil this counts for the list (also for some reason they turn him into a water element in trap team which i dont get why)
1744492680932.png

Chomp Chest:
This Treasure chest is hungry for gold and riches burried underneath the earth so much so that he can dig up treasure hidden in the ground plus treasure chests are commonly burried in the ground and found in anchient stone temples and the gold connection is the same as golden queen so he counts
1744492672621.png

Tussle Sprout:
Tussle Sprout is a Brussle Sprout and even though brussle Sprouts Grow From the ground by desgin villain quest and attacks alone he should be a life villain but then again the growing in the ground thing could be up in the air for debate about his type

wow that was short huh? speaking of up in the air next up is the air element
