Eh?

Teh?

Meh?

Feh?

Like a fergeoun...

HEY!

Peach can speak paragraphs, Daisy can repeat certain phrases over and over again like a parrot.

Maybe I meant something more like "ai"... It's a long A, okay? So I guess the best way to sum it up would be... ā...

We all seem to be forgetting that Peach has hatced major plots of her own, in PM and SPP. Defeating Bowser has to take some skill, and skill takes smats.

Long A? When you say "long A", I think your meaning like in lawn or father. Use "diphtonic A" instead. Also, I don't use AHD, I use IPA.

Fascinating. I haven't done phonics in years. I hear they're taking it out of new/public schools. Shame. I need not those terms. I know what I'm doing. I speak in short, quick sentences.

EDIT: Tryin' to technobabble me, eh? "Diphtonic" apparently isn't a word...

Also, the examples you provided (lawn, father) are actually umlaut a's (ä).

Back on topic, Peach is smarter.

No, but "diphton" (or somthn') is one. I'll use IPA:
More open long A: /ɑː/ (father)
More closed long A: /ɔː/ (aw)
Short A: /æ/ (at)
Diphton A: /eɪ/ (ate)
Unstressed A: /ə/ (a)

Agreed, Monty.

Sí, entiendo. Inglés es una lengua loca.
