I meant to point this out earlier, but I forgot to. The soundtrack can easily be swapped out with music made in a program that's NOT copyrighted. The characters/sprites being exchanged would require the entire storyline and a lot of the dialogue to be altered.Mr. Doctor Professor Assistant Governor-General Shyguy said:The music would probably be your biggest concern.Snow Miser said:lot of the content (sprites, mostly) is copyrighted.

Ha, thanks. I'm glad you like it so far.Edofenrir said:I got yet to play only the second demo, and that one was quite well made. I hope I can find some spare time to play the most recent one as well.
Keep up the spirit... lies (ok, that pun was awful).
Well, it could be done through the graphics folder, but it would still require quite a bit of work. Unless you're thinking of something else. :PEdofenrir said:EDIT: Or wait, there is a way to swap sprites without having to re-code everything, but that one is kinda cheap.
I could still cram in a couple more NPCs, but that's about it. Will that do?Kinniku Man said:Cool idea Stooben. By the way... are all the slots to be in the game gone? If not, count me in. If so, darn
Of course!Blur said:I could still cram in a couple more NPCs, but that's about it. Will that do?Kinniku Man said:Cool idea Stooben. By the way... are all the slots to be in the game gone? If not, count me in. If so, darn

Thanks. I might pop out a small demo for each chapter, so it might not be too long before the next one is out.
Yup. I made working slot machines, a card game, and a few other things.Coldplay said:BTW, can you play in the casino???
Well, I already know some stuff about game programming, but I hardly use it to make this game. The only time I have is when I edit and create scripts. (Which makes gameplay much more interactive.) It's pretty simple stuff, though.Sharks Territory said:Stoob, did you have to learn all sorts of programming stuff for this?
Yeah, I didn't think I should post a shot of that here. :PLyra said:Me too. I also see Stoob left out the screenshot with the pot leaf. :P
I'm about to put you in today. I've only got one part of Billsburgh left to design, which is where you'll first be seen.Lyra said:By the way, did I ever get programmed in yet?
I plan to put you in a little later in the game (probably 2 or 3 chapters from now), so it's not a dire situation right now. But finding (or making) Ralph Wiggum sprites probably won't be easy. :/Sharks Territory said:If someone could get me some sprites, it would help. I have no clue how to make them.
Cool thanks.Blur said:I'm about to put you in today. I've only got one part of Billsburgh left to design, which is where you'll first be seen.Lyra said:By the way, did I ever get programmed in yet?
