I don't really care that USA doesn't get it. Why? Because I hardly ever play arcade games. If it was a console/handheld game, however, it'd be a different story.

Not me. I really did like it, although it had it´s flaws compared to the previous games.

But considering people already dislike the GCN parties A LOT, I don´t think my opinion counts much :/

I never said 8 was crap, but it was the 2nd worst in the series... eventually it will be 3rd worst because of this. "This" Is crap, "8" was a little bad, not horrible, not crap, not addicting, not very fun, but just a little bad for a MP Game. I expected more, i blame the candy, BOOOOO!!! to the candy, YAAAAAAAY!!! to the normal items, MEEEEH!!! to the orbs
