Then by this rule, I can pass on all the options. It's not a good idea, Smasher. If we let people pass on choices, it's not two choices, is it?
 
It has been used many times before in the past, and has not caused any problems. If someone doesn't have an opinion on either choice, they should not and do not have to pick one.
