What I want to know is why Max turned into a girl, yet Professor Crumbs although younger, remained the same gender.

I knew that, what I meant was
they did the same thing to Professor Crumbs turning him into a little boy, I was just wondering why Justin and Alex's spells changed Max's gender, but not Crumbs'.
