You know what would be cool? If on Marvel's side, Deadpool, Thor, the Thing, Luke Cage, and Penance were playable characters. And on Capcom's side, Sagat, Zero, Arthur, Viewtiful Joe,Frank West, maybe Rusty from Dark Void Zero, and DEFINITELY Mike Haggar and Cody would be playable characters!

Yeah, that would be so AWESOME!

Even if it has a snowflake's chance in hell of happening, I would looooove to see Capcom vs Midway happen to see what Capcom could do with Midway's non-MK character, Captain Commando vs Root Beer Tapper! Balrog vs a guy from Ready 2 Rumble! Blanka vs George from Rampage! The guy from Bionic COmmando vs WARHEAD!

.... yeah.

Guy's the ninja character? Yeah, thanks, but I's rather have the jailbird Cody than another "ninja" character.

Deadpool's the cooler ninja character, BTW.

•Confirmed characters so far are Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto, Storm and a few others will return.

• The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 development team said they will be blowing fans out of the water with the sheer number of characters this game includes on the disc.

• This will be another 2D fighter — gameplay-wise — but will be something of a cross between the original Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 4.

• The rumored release date is late 2010 or early 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, no plans right now for other systems.

• The game will run in 1080p resolution.

• It will be a disc-based release.

• Apparently the game will have unlockables again.

• Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be playable at this year's E3 which is held on June 15 - 17th.

You can listen to the confirmed characters' themes on the Japanese Website.

Just click on the character you want to hear. You may have to mute and unmute the "BGM" button.
 
Here's a random thought: seeing as how Capcom is porting Street Fighter 4 to the 3DS, I wonder if they'd do the same for this? It's a long shot, but it'd be cool.
