Well its not turned base I don't really know how to describe it though...

Its both. Its an action game, whith turn based features. You can set the combat to be VERY turn based, or only semi-turn based. It sems very action, though.

I must disagree. RPGs are quite fun in my opinion. Look at Final Fantasy!
