i dont want them to make a new rosalina/lubba, they should use both of them instead of making useless characters
also if the theory is right peach is like 120 years old, in mario galaxy 1 there was a festival and there was another one in smg2,it happensonce a centry so therefore nintendo made a mistake or peach and mario are both 120+ years of age

This would be explained by the fact the planet rotates much faster around the sun than our planet. Therefore, we can also assume that centuries in the Mushroom World are more like decades in our Earth.

I tend to theorize that because the universe was reborn at the end of SMG, all events prior to the universe reborn were erased; Star Festival never happened, and Bowser knows nothing about his universal plot. From there, Bowser never thought about conquering the universe, until the end of NSMB Wii; becoming a giant after Kamek's spell eventually gave him that idea. From there, SMG 2 came into play.

Of course, in terms of Rosalina, she probably still remembers everyone on the Mushroom Planet after SMG, but acts like she never met them before in SMG 2; keeping a low profile in that department apparently.

The universe was reset at the end of SMG1, so, in other words, none of the events in that game actually happened and nobody but Rosalina remembers those.

however
at the end of galaxy 2 when rosalina apears lubba is all like "nice to see you, i thought we would meet again"

Maybe they met before either game happened. Lubba did say it seems like forever since they've seen each other.

Maybe we'll get a remake of Super Mario Sunshine before we get a Super Mario Galaxy 3? Besides, Super Mario 64 DS is a remake, why not get Super Mario Sunshine? I never played the game.

Wonder what they do to those Blue Coins that many people are complaining about.

It's pretty unlikely that they are gonna fix them

Yep. But there are a few added stuff in Super Mario 64 DS, such as Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi. Wonder if they are going to alter anything.

I hope they add Luigi playable. It'll be better than playing as a fat plumber thing who's red and fat

I feel like I can't get my point across well enough. Ah, well, it doesn't really matter, the people on this forum would never understand anyway.

Bottom line: sure, I'd like another Super Mario Galaxy, but I'd like there to be a bit more to it than the second one.

Well, I'm completely sure they'd add more to it. Otherwise, it'd just be "Super Mario Galaxy 2: Part 2".

That sounds hilarious, actually

Yeah, Bowser comes back and takes Peach again and that Lubba is just all, "Come on, Mario! Let's go to Worlds 7-12 and get MORE stars in MORE galaxies and then come back and do MORE Green Stars! THIS GAME WILL NEVER DIE!"

As convenient as the Starship Mario is, I'd take the Comet Observatory over it any day.

And I doubt that Bowser wants to risk getting tiny again, after abusing the Grand Stars so much.

That reminds me. Super Mario Galaxy 2 seems to end kind of open-ended. Like, how does Bowser come back to full size? And what about Mario and his hat?

Ironically, Super Mario Galaxy 2 felt more like Super Mario Galaxy: Part 2.

Well, it is a direct sequel. At the end, I guess it's supposed to be a new canonical Super Mario Galaxy after the previous Super Mario Galaxy storyline got erased from the canon.

Yeah... Not to mention they burrow a few stages and boss battles from the previous game. Don't get me wrong, I loved some of the first game's bosses, and I like throw-back things like the Throwback Galaxy, but when have of the stars involve going through the same stage again, only faster/under a time limit, it just strikes me as being, you know... lazy.

Reminds me of that comment Shigeru Miyamoto saying that 95% of Super Mario Galaxy 2 would be new.

That's why Stone Cyclone is probably the worst galaxy in the game design wise

But I think World S was SUPPOSED to be basically a Throwback World. Personally, I quite enjoyed all the throwbacks to Galaxy 1.

Flip-Out was probably the only non-throwback, besides Grandmaster

Even that was still a throwback to an earlier galaxy in the game itself.

Grandmaster Galaxy also has throwback elements in the music, especially with Perfect Run.
