So Portal 2 doesn't work on my laptop (the screen is black when I start up a game, all I can see is the crosshair and the subtitles), and I'm not exactly sure what to do in Terraria.

I'll learn though.
Something similar happened to me when I played Supreme Commander 2, but I fixed it by turning on "anti-aliasing" or something like that in the graphics menu.

If Portal 2 has something like that then you should activate it and see if it works.

Your laptop can barely run TF2- no way in Hell can it play Portal 2.

I voted for Torchlight, too.
You should totally get Train Sim 2012, by the way. It's mad fun with bundles of just really interesting DLC.

I also voted for Torchlight. And I agree with TrainSim 2012, it's actually a really good simulator. I got it last year, fun stuff.

Got Train Simulator today. Although the loading speed takes a few minutes it seems like an alright game. Haven't got a chance to get into it much yet tho.

My laptop doesn't even run TF2 anymore -- I get this HL2.exe application error whenever I boot it up. Half-Life 2 ran without lag the day I got it though (as I aforementioned it doesn't work now, screen turns black when I load up a file), and that runs the same engine as TF2.

Alright, I will see.

and its your birthday too

glad i could give you a present

EDIT: oh and where are my manners happy birthday

I swear, Portal 2 and Bastion were on a super sale every other day (including yesterday) and it annoys me because I missed my chance to get both GTA Vice City and Twisted Shadow Planet for cheap when they were on sale.

every single game was on sale every other day

this sale was such a letdown, even compared to last year's. i suppose that's a good thing because I didn't go too spend crazy but damn.

I got loads of great stuff, so I'm content.

I got the entire Half-Life series for $10 so I'm happy.

EDIT: No wait, I got it for $20 because I missed the flash sale.

enjoy them to death

shame you couldnt get a better deal though

Team Fortress 2 is downloading. Does it show the controls in a tutorial or something and what is the Mario Wiki server called?

i think theres a little training mode that teaches you the basic parts. its not complex at all, its really just move, aim, fire and then you got classes like the engineer which add other parts like having to build and maintain your constructions.

i couldnt find the IP of the server anywhere tho so idk

MCD or someone got me Borderlands. Never heard of it, but I'll play it.
