Who thinks they should make a second double dash? Here would be an ultimate roster:

Small:
Baby Mario and Baby Luigi
Baby Peach and Baby Daisy
Koopa Troopa and Paratroopa
Dry Bones and Boo
Luma and Polari

Medium:
Mario and Luigi
Peach and Daisy
Yoshi and Birdo
Diddy and Dixie
Bowser Jr. and Kamek

Large:
Bowser and Dry Bowser
King Boo and Petey
Rosalina and Lubba
Funky Kong and Donkey Kong
Wario and Waluigi
 
No, 100% no. Every Mario kart after double dash was a sequel.
 
Indeed, there are even Mario Kart Double Dash leftovers found in Mario Kart DS Beta.
MKDD was fun, but one sequel is enough.

I liked Double Dash, though. The coop was awesome, plus having two items at once to be used.

The only thing I hated was the AI selection. It was utter crap.

You mean as in the weight system EVERY MARIO KART USES? Because as far as I´m cocnerned, you can´t put Bowser in the blue falcon in Mario Kart Wii.

The only game that ignores weight is MKDS and it´s just a last minute attempt to balance the game, since the Egg1 and the Dry Bomber were horribly broken vehicles, so they made everyone fit into every kart.

I think he's talking about the weights being horribly unbalanced.
 
Yeah like the large characters always coming in the top 3. I would always hope for no large characters so the others would have a chance.

Yeah. I get sick of seeing Petey Piranha driving with me while I use Mario and Luigi.
 
It's amazing how fast threads get off topic. Mario Kart DS was a double dash 2.
 
I'd like that the next Mario Kart was a normal Mario Kart game, with one racer per car, and after you beat all the cups in all the difficulties and unlock all the characters you unlock the Double Dash mode, which adds new cups.

The roster would be this:

Yoshi & Birdo
Rosalina & Lubba
Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong Jr.
Funky Kong & Diddy Kong
Wario & Waluigi

Poor Toad. Must have overlooked him.

Replace Dry Bones and Boo with Toad and Toadette. Or Baby Peach and Baby Daisy.
