I just think that they're... a bit too fast. You can't really stop to collect items, like in Kirby or Mario games.

It's not like you can't slow down for a bit. Anyway, although the old Sonic games had alot of exploration and collecting, the newer ones don't even have many items to stop and collect, and in the 3D games with the homing attack you can collect items without slowing down too much.

Anyway, this is still off topic.
