The Official Mega Man Thread

When the inevitable MM11 comes out whoever's playable should have their own stroylines and at least 1 unique boss fight.

Oh, and a better ending is a must. 10's is pretty lame.

This. I was hoping that Mega Man and Bass would fight each other again, but unfortunately, that just didn't happen. In fact, Bass didn't even play an actual role in the storyline. He was nowhere to be found in Mega Man's and Proto Man's story. I'm glad that Bass was even in the game at all (unlike Mega Man 9), but still.

Yeah, Mega Man 10's ending was definitely a bit of a disappointment. In fact, so was the storyline in general. It was just way too predictable.
 
They need to have original robots too. Like not another fire-based robot, we have like 6 of them.

We need people like Arachno Man, Rocket Man, Wing Man, somthing original.

What are the secret games and how do you get them?
 
The secret games are Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters. To unlock the former game, you have to complete Mega Man 3. To unlock the latter game, you just simply have to defeat Freeze Man in Mega Man 7.
 
Oh, Megaman 3 is pretty easy, especially the bosses. You can just walk up to them with the Hard Knuckles or the Mega Buster and fire away.
 
The Top Spin may be pretty good and effective against normal enemies that only take a hit or two to kill, but against bosses...not so much. Mega Man himself still takes damage in the process. That reason alone is why I think that's the worst Robot Master ability in the entire series.
 
Megaman X Series count? Because i love those! I played from X1 to the X6! I can win X5 in less than a hour!
 
Yes, the X series counts, too. In fact, we were talking about it on the last couple of pages.
 
Okay, then it's the second-worst ability in the series. Although, the Power Stone was completely different and much better in Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters.
