Me too (I have a 3 star ranking right now), but it's still tedious and difficult at the same time.

I don't mind it too much. I think overall the Retro Cups could've been better if they picked better Gamecube courses, like Mushroom Bridge, Sherbet Land, Dino Dino Jungle and Wario Colosseum.
