By the way speaking of the next Mario Kart, why do some people hate Donkey Kong's new design? It's just based on his original design from the Donkey Kong arcade games.
Hey which character is that that's your new profile picture? They look really cool.
Xiahou Ba

Xiahou Ba from Dynasty Warriors 8 (he's a historical figure too in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms period but obviously didn't look like a boy irl), my second favorite character in the game! He wields a rocket spear (game calls it a siege spear but you know), which is my favorite weapon in the game.
random bullshit i have learned reading the star wars wiki:
1. grand moff tarkin was gay

2. his secret lover was one of the stormtroopers han and luke killed to steal their armor to sneak on-board the death star

I thought you were making that up as a joke, but the jokes on me, it's actually real.

Wow I just read it too this is the most bizarre canon thing I've ever heard of LOL. I wonder if this was canon when Lucas was still in charge of Star Wars or is new canon now that Disney has possession of it that Disney put into the franchise? I really don't know, to be honest. Or maybe I'm just being gullible and this is a joke by someone on the Star Wars wiki.
Burying DK returns HD with the Switch 2 at the last second. Nintendo runs by their own troll logic
Just beat Mario & Luigi: Brothership and I loved it all the way through!! Really wish it had a post-game tho

I'm praying for some sort of Bowser's Minions DLC that's never going to happen.

How hard was Brothership? How many times did you die?
Ok guys, I'm just a bit frustrated right now. I finally made it to the Gnasty Gnorc boss level but it's totally unfair! There are four reasons why I am struggling to beat it:

1. The thieves are so freaking fast! It's nearly impossible to catch them! What the hell......

2. The tutorial video I saw of this had this part where you flame Gnasty Gnorc when he's on this one platform, but every time I get to the platform he's already left! Hell, when I'm far away from it and haven't even reached that part of the level, he sees me and then he runs off of it. How am I supposed to flame him if he's never over there?! The one time he was actually on the platform he shot magic at me and I slipped and fell over the edge!

3. Every single time I screw up, I have to start ALL over again which means I have to catch the thieves again, and the thieves are so freaking fast it's hard to catch them and only times I've ever been able to catch them, it's because I've been lucky! Turning at all while I'm running slows me down and makes it harder to catch them and the level itself is filled with so many twists and turns which adds to the difficulty.

4. To be able to get Gnasty Gnorc onto the platform I have to run-charge the ENTIRE time and keep up with him which makes it about 200% more likely I will fall over the edge and die and have to start ALL over again, and it's already happened more than once.

I swear to freaking God guys I HATE this level! I recall when I played Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PC I was able to beat Spyro 2 and 3 and NOT Spyro 1 because of this very same level! I never beat it. I DON'T want to give up on this, or fail to beat it. I put so much time and effort into it. Somebody, please, help me!

Like, I'm a bit frustrated and angry right now but most of all, I'm desperate. I'm desperate for someone to give me some advice that will help me beat this because this level is not fair at all. Please someone help me......I'd hate to have to walk away from this after I've been playing it for nearly a month to get to where I am now! If I have to walk away from this after playing it for so long without beating it I'll never get over it. I'll feel like a failure. I've beaten almost every game I've gotten my hands on in the past. And when I can't beat a game, I tend to be hard on myself for not beating it because I can beat most games. :(

Seriously though LOL this level is just plain evil. 👿

Yeah, like, not really extremely frustrated and angry about this, but I am a bit discouraged about it. I got this game for Christmas and I really want to just beat it and move on to Spyro 2. I've literally finished just about all of it, except this part. Ugh...this part...

Anyway yeah-like-I'd like maybe some tips on how to beat this level, or if not that, maybe some encouragement. Or don't. That's fine too.

Ok I think I'll try to beat this again later today. Everyone wish me luck; this is going to be difficult.
I will confess that despite my choice of profile image, I've never played Sonic Adventure 2. I just thought that the DARK story being highlighted was a funny way to reference my theme.

You should try it out, it's cheap on Steam.

I would play both sides to see how the perspective and experience slightly changes based on which alliance you're in.
Nearly sent my Shroom Section to you by accident because your username has the same first 3 letters as Waluigi Time's

Lol, it happens. I would definitely have been confused if I ended up getting your 'Shroom section in my DMs though.
I really, really, really want to like Bowser's Inside Story. But it's so damn brutal it feels kind of unfair! Am I doing anything wrong or is the game really this hard and punishing when an enemy lays a single blow on you?

Where are you at in the game and what level are you?

Is this the original Bowser's Inside Story or the 3DS remake you're playing?

Have you ever played any other Mario & Luigi games or Mario RPGs?

Bowser's Inside Story was my first Mario RPG other than SPM (which is a very easy game and does not have turn based combat), and I found it kind of hard as a kid but much more manageable as an adult (it's probably the easiest in the M&L series I'd say, other than maybe Superstar Saga DX). My advice would be:
  • Pay close attention to the patterns for enemy attacks and how to dodge them. Always be on your toes during your enemies' turn!
  • Fight every enemy you see, this may seem tedious and might not seem like much benefit in the short term, but over the course of a playthrough it can really add up and make a huge difference to how manageable combat is in the mid to late game. I used to flee most optional battles as a kid and that really came back to bite me in the late game.
  • Equip the best gear you have access to
  • Stock up on healing items (including HP and SP, and for both Bowser and the bros.) I like to stock up on tons of the cheapest ones so that I can always use those in between battles to fully heal up (if I don't have access to a healing shop such as Emoglobin's Special Juice, which are much more cost efficient than using items), and then have some more expensive ones to hand for in battle (because having more powerful healing items in battle saves you turn over using multiple weaker ones, but out of battle that is no issue). Also have some 1-ups to hand.
  • You can "grind" by going back and fighting weaker enemies to level up easier. Try to go for the strongest ones that you can handle, so that you're getting the most XP.
  • Take time to master Bros. Attacks in the practise mode so that you can reliably do good damage to foes.
  • Don't sleep on Badges! (that is, if you've unlocked them yet)
  • Make sure you always collect and use Beans whenever you see a Bean spot on the ground (if you've unlocked the ability to dig up Beans yet)
  • Try to explore secret areas if you can as not only are they often fun, but they can contain very valuable rewards.

Where I left off I was in the Tower of Yikk - I can't remember what level I'm at, but, based on responses I've gotten here and elsewhere, my run is probably all out of whack, LOL. To be fair, I did start it years ago when I was younger, got stuck on the first Durmite boss, and put it down for years. I think I've been underleveled since early game, because young me's mindset was to skip as many battles as possible, so I didn't think about buying gear or actually going back and getting XP to level up and become stronger.

Thanks for responding, and especially so for the comprehensive guide on a playthrough. I plan on restarting my run to get the most out of it (and to actually remember what happens in the early game! I will be having sandwich with mustard of remembrance!)
Ok so changed my mind a bit about who I'll be next. After this I'll be Bowser but after that I plan to be Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and then Rouge from Sonic The Hedgehog and maybe after that a few FNAF characters.
